Nashville-based credit card marketing firm edo Interactive has launched edo Marketplace, it was announced today.

Edo describes the new platform as a “first-of-its-kind card-linked offers capability that allows local merchants to target new customers and increase loyalty with instantly redeemable offers tailored to their customers’ shopping habits.” The end goal is to provide local merchants with a more sophisticated and targeted means of attracting what edo terms “the right customers.”

The system is designed to help merchants in three main areas: “Easily find new customers, convert new visitors into loyal customers, and measure program effectiveness”

Back in September of last year edo lined up a $15 million C round led by Vantage Point Partners along with Chicago’s Baird Venture partners, the venture arm of Robert W. Baird & Co.
